Ground crew marshalling at night
Ramp & Ground Operations

Below Wings Training

Practical and technical training for airside agents, equipment operators, baggage handlers, and cargo operations. Designed for safe, compliant, and efficient ground movements.

Available Programs

We conduct on-site ground operations training, integrating classroom theory with hands-on practice using your actual equipment and layout constraints.

Marshalling

Aircraft marshalling signals, OACI standardization, marshaller positioning, and flight crew communication.

Aircraft Towing & Pushback

Safe operation of tow tractors, pushback procedures, cockpit radiotelephony contact, towbar connections, and tight-space maneuvering.

Ramp Safety (Air Side)

Rules of vehicle movement, warning zones (jet blast, engine suction, APU), FOD prevention, safety corridors, and cohabitation rules.

Restricted Radio Operator Certificate

Preparation and testing for the official Restricted Operator Certificate with Aeronautical Qualification (ROC-A) required for aerodrome communications.

WHMIS (Ground Operations)

WHMIS 2015 / GHS training covering ramp chemicals (de-icing glycols, fuels, hydraulic fluids, solvents), SDS, and chemical emergencies.

Forklift Certification

Safe operations compliance, pre-use inspections, weight-load calculations, and airside navigation.

K-Loader Operation

ULD container cargo loader positioning, locking, weight limits, pre-op checks, and flight crew coordination.

Aircraft Refueling

Aircraft fueling safety, static grounding, fuel classification (Jet A-1, Avgas), safety zones, spill protocols, and regulations.

Occupational Health & Safety (Ramp & Hangar)

Safety training covering heavy machinery, industrial noise, heights, and physical work hazards.

Manual & Mechanical Ground Handling

Ergonomics training on manual bag lifting, cargo palletizing, and safe mechanical lift device operation.

Passenger Control Officer (Tarmac)

Safety escort protocols for passengers walking across active ramps between aircraft and terminal.

SMS for Ground Operations

Incident and hazard reporting logs side-piste, and personal participation in organizational safety systems.

Aircraft De-icing & Anti-icing

Fluid types (Type I, II, III, IV), application criteria, holdover calculation, and post-de-ice checks.

Pallet Building & Cargo Loading

ULD container and open pallet loading, cargo securing, aircraft weight & balance constraints, and manifesting.
